In September we did a women’s business event for BASF in Wyandotte, MI. Our client had close to 50 women attend this interactive speech on Executive Presence. We are doing a similar program on November 6th in Tampa FL for the JLL Women’s Business Network. The ROI on this type of session is dramatic. After an hour long interactive speech you walk away with executive presence skills you can use immediately; a big return in a short period of time.
We conducted several breakout sessions at a conference for Facilities Management in Phoenix AZ earlier this year. One of the participants in our session invited us to speak at their BOMA chapter meeting in Charleston SC last month. The audience was made up of Facilities Management professionals. This month we went to San Francisco and St. Louis for one of our new real estate clients. Our program was customized to address issues when pitching for business. The focus of the session was delivery skills, handling objections and leading a team through a pitch. We got great reviews all around and it looks like we will do more sessions for them in 2019.
We also went to Chicago to conduct a “graduate program” for a client committed to skill-building over time. Our grad program helps clients reinforce the skills from our initial Present with Presenceprogram. We include new information too – handling tough questions/objections and a robust module on Power Point since most people struggle with this tool. Our audience was a Research team that is an integral part of our client’s business. Researchers are critical to sales pitches; they let clients and prospects know the marketplace trends so they can make informed decisions.
This week in Atlanta we’re teaching our proprietary Message Builder tool. This helps participants structure their message for internal and external meetings because when presenting, you need both a strong delivery system and a strong message.
